Cup of tea
Hope to find solutions in a cup
For maybe one or two sorrows I’ve got
Eyes filled with gone memories
Gone with the warm steam beyond my face
Thought the miles would take it away with you
But my grief still asks me what I’m supposed to do
Trust is a hard enemy to convince
Tells your mind to wait tells your heart to resist
Hope to find solutions in a cup
For maybe one or two sorrows I’ve got
Girl you deserve something better than that
If you let me I would prove you that
